Soundscapes in Surface

Viewers are invited to experiment with drawing while hearing the amplified sound of the mark making through headphones. A contact microphone picks up the sound of the drawing creating a dynamic soundscape. Does the sound lead the drawing or does the drawing lead the sound? What does it mean to bring drawing into space as a sonic experience?
